Mahjong Ways 2 is PG Soft's mahjong-tile slot. It has five reels, with an extra row on each of the three middle reels, for 2,000 ways to win. Winning tiles are removed and new ones cascade in, so one spin can produce several wins in a row.
Each consecutive win raises the multiplier shown above the reels: from x1 to x2, x3 and then x5. Some tiles on reels 2, 3 and 4 land in gold, and when a gold tile is part of a win it turns into a Wild for the next cascade. Three Scatters award 10 free spins, plus two more for each extra Scatter. In free spins the multiplier ladder becomes x2, x4, x6 and x10, and every tile on reel 3 lands in gold, which makes Wilds far more frequent.
